Cinnamon Soap

We’ve been busy making soap to increase our inventory before Christmas orders start coming in.  I never thought to make a cinnamon soap until a neighbor asked us to make a custom order of it for her.  It smells wonderful!  It’s the perfect soap to have in your bathroom in the fall and winter.  We added a little cinnamon powder to gently exfoliate and warm your skin, so nice to come inside and shower with after you’ve been out in the cold doing morning chores or a sweet way to start your day before going to work.

  1. Stumbled upon your site today. Love your name and your black and white header photos. 🙂 I also like the layout of your blog – very clean looking. I like that your text is small, unlike the theme I chose (twenty twelve, I think) that has very large text. Beautiful rustic look you have for your soap. Good idea on the cinnamon powder, but does it accelerate trace?

    1. Glad you like our blog! Checked out yours too and love your color swirled soaps. Are you doing that with milk soap or water-based? Cinnamon powder–we didn’t find that it accelerated trace.

      1. Thank you for your reply and for checking out my blog. If you are talking about the black with pink and white swirl, it is water based. Lately though I have been making all yogurt soaps. I love it so much that I think I will make yogurt as the base for most of my soaps. I will try cinnamon one of these days. I am always looking for natural additives to have more interesting soaps. 🙂
